Ayman Younes: Meeting of Zamalek SC veterans is an important step to determine the fate of the football company
Ayman Younes, former star of Zamalek SC, spoke about the upcoming meeting of the club's legends and former players next Tuesday to discuss the mechanisms for establishing a football company and outlining a roadmap for the future of the white castle.
Ayman Younes stated during his remarks on the "On Target" program broadcast on "On Sport" channel that the next session will be open to all Zamalek SC stars across generations, starting from Shikabala to Captain Abu Regaila. He pointed out that the invitation includes everyone who has worn the club's jersey and achieved titles with it.
This move aims to establish direct communication channels with the club officials to clarify the details of the football company's project and to elucidate its management strategies, while putting in place decisive guarantees that preserve the identity and history of Zamalek SC. This step comes to create a realistic and reliable image of the project, away from the rumors and speculation circulating on social media.
Younes emphasized that the investment and financial ratios in the football company are not the most important issue for him, whether it is 51%, 49%, or 60%. He clarified that what matters most is the nature of the management and technical oversight over the investor's decisions, ensuring that no decisions are made that could harm the club or its future, especially regarding the buying and selling of players and dealings with coaching staff.
Younes emphasized the necessity for the club's board to maintain strict oversight tools to preserve the dignity and independence of Zamalek SC, stressing the need to carefully review the contractual terms with the investor and to formulate clear conditions and regulations to prevent any interventions that could negatively affect the team's performance, either technically or administratively.
