Raja Club edge AS FAR Rabat 2-1 to climb to 6th place

Raja Club achieved an important victory against their rivals AS FAR Rabat with a score of 2-1, in the match that brought them together in the postponed game from the first round of the Moroccan Professional League "Inwi", allowing the green team to collect three valuable points under the guidance of their coach Abdul Knight.

Raja Club did not wait long to open the scoring, as Youssef El Fahli succeeded in finding the back of the net against AS FAR Rabat in the 2nd minute, taking advantage of the strong start from the home side. However, AS FAR Rabat managed to equalize in the 27th minute, bringing the match back to a level score.

Seven minutes before half-time, the green team regained their lead through Adam Ennaffati, who scored the second goal, giving Raja Club the advantage before heading into the break.

In the second half, Badr Benoun's teammates focused on securing their lead while relying on counter-attacks, while AS FAR Rabat players, led by Reda Tagnouti, tried to equalize and get back into the match. However, haste and a lack of focus prevented them from converting their attempts into goals.

With this victory, Raja Club secured their second win of the season, raising their tally to 9 points and climbing to 6th place in the standings, while AS FAR Rabat's points remain at 8 in 8th place, with a postponed match still to play.
