Raja Club officially parts ways with Paco Jémez after results decline

Raja Club have announced the termination of their contract with Spanish coach Paco Jémez, following an assessment of the team's results and performance since the start of the season. The sports committee and the sports management were not convinced by the achieved results and the development of the team's performance.

The club clarified in an official statement that the decision came after reviewing the previous phase, which did not achieve its set goals and aspirations. It considered that changing the coaching leadership has become necessary to inject new blood into the team and continue working towards achieving its sporting ambitions.

Khimis has led Raja Club in 7 matches, achieving two victories, 4 draws, and one defeat, which came against RS Berkane by two goals to nil, in the encounter that brought the two teams together on Sunday evening.

Raja Club has not disclosed details regarding the termination of the contract or the method used to dissolve it, nor has it addressed the future of sporting director Rogério Matias, who is facing fan criticism due to his decisions, particularly concerning the transfer dealings, which a section of supporters hold responsible for the team's decline.

The club has confirmed its intention to continue its sporting project with ambition and responsibility, in line with its history, status, and the aspirations of its fans, while awaiting the announcement of the identity of the new coach who will lead the team during the upcoming phase.
