Aston Villa dreams of signing Gavi, and this is Barcelona and the player's stance

Unai Emery, Aston Villa's head coach, has expressed interest in signing Spanish midfielder Gavi from FC Barcelona in the near future, taking advantage of his limited appearances with the Catalan team since the start of the current season.

Gavi, 22, has played just 191 minutes across 7 matches this season, starting only twice under coach Hans Flick. This situation may give the English club an opportunity to try to sign him, with the possibility of offering him a bigger role within the team.

In contrast, FC Barcelona are not considering letting Gavi go at all, and the player himself has no intention of leaving or listening to offers, despite his dissatisfaction with his current situation within the team, as he remains eager to change things and regain his place.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Sport", Flick is counting on Gavi in FC Barcelona's project for the present and future, while the decline in his appearances is attributed to the strong competition in midfield and the coach's belief that there are players currently ahead of him.

Gavi's future remains tied to his ability to regain playing minutes and participate regularly with FC Barcelona, amid Aston Villa's interest in potentially giving him a greater opportunity to showcase his talents.
