Christian Kivu, the head coach of Inter, spoke about the upcoming clash against Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League, expressing his great confidence in his players' ability to deliver a strong performance, despite the difficulty of playing in the expected crowd atmosphere at the Dutch team's stadium.

Chievo said during the press conference: "I believe in hard work, and I believe in this team, in what they have done and what they will do in the future. Our players are great champions, and they have proven that over the past years, setting high standards to maintain Inter's status. There are some moments and negative mistakes that we need to learn from and move forward."

Speaking about his return to the stadium that holds special memories for him, he explained: "Here I won the KNVB Cup, and I know well what this stadium represents for its team, as well as the atmosphere surrounding it. The match will not be easy in this hostile crowd environment, but it's a beautiful part of football, and this is one of the reasons we participate in the UEFA Champions League, where we face teams of this level."

Regarding the historic rivalry between Ajax and Feyenoord, Inter's coach, who previously played for Ajax, said: "We have a UEFA Champions League match on the horizon, and I don't have time to talk about the past. But as a former Ajax player, returning here definitely has a special meaning for me."

Chievo discussed Inter's ambitions in the league stage, emphasizing that reaching the top eight requires gathering around 16 points, after the team has collected 3 points so far. He added: "We have to focus match by match, and we know that the confrontation will not be easy, but we know who we are and what we want to achieve, and I am convinced that we will have a great match."

Regarding the strengths of the opponent, Chievo warned about the attacking capabilities of Feyenoord, saying: "This team shows a strong performance at home in the Champions League, and they have quality and speed in many positions, especially in the front line, with outstanding players like Moisés and Zekiel. They have good elements in individual duels and a striker who knows how to make the team play, and we need to show our abilities."

Inter's coach concluded his remarks by expressing relative confidence in the team's physical condition, explaining that the coaching staff had to deal with some difficult circumstances and find appropriate solutions, before confirming the recovery of Profidel, alongside Benjamin Pavard's return to team training.
