Amorim: Inter derby is a special clash and we must give our all

Portuguese manager Rubén Amorim has confirmed the difficulty of the anticipated match against Inter Milan, scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, as part of the 10th round of Serie A, emphasizing the importance of securing victory in the city derby.

Amorim stated during the press conference: "It is a special match, a unique rivalry between two great teams from the same city sharing the same stadium. We know well the importance of this encounter, and we have a responsibility to win. When you play matches like this, the context or fatigue doesn't matter; you have to step onto the pitch and give your all, and we will be ready."

He added about the strength of the opponent: "Inter is a team that can play without looking at their teammates, and even when they make changes to their lineup, their players know well what they need to do. They have great experience and an exceptional ability to read the course of matches, but we have talent too, and we will be ready to fight."

AC Milan's coach addressed the situation of some of his players, stating: "Moreira, Gela, and Rabiot are ready to return to team training, and we will assess tomorrow the possibility of them participating from the start. As for Ramos, he can be the derby man, but he needs the team's support and to get closer to the opponent's goal."

Amorim concluded his remarks by stressing the need to develop the team's character, saying: "We need to gain the necessary maturity to control matches and manage their different moments. Against Bologna, we lost our calm after conceding the third goal, and these are details that need to be corrected. We need consistency throughout 90 minutes, and I assure you that we will become a very strong team."
