Manchester United face increasing challenges in their quest to choose the next head coach, amid huge financial burdens and a disparity in squad elements, factors that could complicate the task of signing one of the top coaches in world football.

According to an article by journalist Paul Hirst published in The Times, the belief that Michael Carrick can be easily replaced by a top-tier coach reflects, in the writer's view, a disregard for the reality the club is currently facing.

The article explained that Manchester United's debts, estimated at around £1.15 billion, along with the disharmony within the team, may impose restrictions on management's options during the search for a new manager.

Sir Alf Ramsey has indicated that these circumstances may push the club to broaden the pool of candidates to include less prominent names than the coaches Manchester United usually targets, placing the management in a difficult position to choose the person capable of leading the team in the next phase.
