Trabzonspor president: Salah among the top 3 players in the world

Trabzonspor president Artugrul Dogan has praised the levels that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah is showing, considering him one of the greatest three players in the world still playing football, and confirming that he has received great love since joining the team.

Dogan, in statements reported by the Turkish newspaper "Sabah", said that Salah is experiencing a state of happiness in the city of Trabzon, explaining: "Salah is one of the three greatest players still playing football today. We promised him that he would receive a love in Trabzon like he has never experienced before, and he felt that from the moment he arrived at the airport; he is extremely happy and receives great affection from the city's residents."

Trabzonspor's president spoke after his team's 2-0 victory over Beşiktaş in the Turkish league, marking their third consecutive win under German coach Thomas Reis.

Mohamed Salah continues to shine in his team's shirt, having scored three goals, a hat-trick, in the match against Galatasaray, before adding another goal against Beşiktaş, contributing to his team's recent winning streak.

Dogan emphasized that the club is looking to continue its positive results without getting carried away by excitement, affirming its ambition to compete for the Turkish league title while also going far in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
