Martín: We put on a great match against Paris, and we will face the clásico to win

Gerard Martín has stated that FC Barcelona put in a strong performance against Paris Saint-Germain despite the loss, emphasizing the need to correct mistakes ahead of the upcoming clash against Real Madrid in the clásico.

In his statements after the match, Martín spoke about the physical condition of the players, saying: "In all matches, players play while feeling some physical discomfort, and in a match like this, a player gives everything he can to be able to participate."

He added about the difficulty of the match and highlighted its key details: "It was a game that required a huge effort, and each team had its moments when they looked good, we both pressed each other from the front, and when we managed to break the press, there were large spaces."

He added: "In the end, matches are decided by details and taking chances well. We will have to correct the mistakes we made, and fortunately, we are in October, and there is still plenty of room for improvement."

A FC Barcelona player emphasized that the loss will not affect the team's preparations for the Clasico, stating: "It will not affect our preparations for the Clasico, we competed at the highest level, and I believe we played a great match, except for some details that almost cost us conceding goals."

Gerard Martín concluded his statements by affirming FC Barcelona's ambition in facing Real Madrid, saying: "We will approach the clásico to win."
