Fabián Ruiz: We put on a great match against Barcelona, and we have a lot of confidence in ourselves

Fabián Ruiz, a player for Paris Saint-Germain, expressed his happiness at the victory over Barcelona and the performance his team delivered, confirming the difficulty of facing an opponent of such a level, and emphasizing the confidence of the Parisian players in their abilities despite the strength of the competition.

In his statements after the match, Ruiz said: "Honestly, I am happy with the match we played and the win, which was important. We faced a very strong opponent, and we delivered a wonderful performance."

A Paris Saint-Germain player spoke about the playing style and defensive retreat under pressure from the opponent, explaining: "Fatigue, along with the pressure from the players and the opposing team, forces you to drop back a little, our idea was to always press forward, in the first half, we regained the ball four or five times, and those balls turned into chances."

He added: "They are a very good team and they put pressure on you, but we also feel comfortable defending with a medium or low block."

Fabián Ruiz has expressed his confidence in Paris Saint-Germain's abilities, stating: "We do not feel that we are superior to any team, we have a lot of faith in ourselves, and we know that we have a great team, as well as knowing how difficult it is to win matches against such opponents."

He added: "The level of competition is very high, and we have to improve day by day and finish the season well; we still have a lot ahead of us."

When asked about the possibility of winning the Ballon d'Or, Ruiz simply said: "Well, we will see."
