Al-Hilal to train in Dammam ahead of Qadisiyah clash and AFC Champions League Elite journey
Al-Hilal players will hold their final training session at the Majdiah Sports Center in Riyadh, before the squad departs for the Eastern Province, where Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium will host the match between the two teams on Friday evening.
The administrative staff has decided to keep the team in Dammam after the match, preparing for travel to Doha to face Al-Shamal next Tuesday in the third round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League Elite.
The continental match will take place at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, while the coaching staff had subjected the players to recovery training last Tuesday, following their victory over Al-Hazm in the 10th round of the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Hilal lead the Saudi Pro League with 24 points, having achieved eight victories against one defeat, continuing their domestic campaign amid a busy schedule and challenges in the title race.
On the Asian level, Al-Hilal has six points from two matches and shares the top spot in the AFC Champions League Elite with Al-Ain, Shabab Al-Ahli, and Esteghlal, before facing Al-Shamal in their next match.
Al-Hilal have arranged an intensive program in preparation for their match against Al-Qadisiyah, as their delegation will travel by bus to Dammam on Thursday to play the 11th round of the Saudi Pro League, before continuing their continental journey in Qatar.
