Guardiola: Solidarity with Palestine cannot stop and our responsibility towards Gaza's children continues
Pep Guardiola, the former manager of FC Barcelona and Manchester City, has expressed his solidarity with the people of Palestine, urging the world not to forget the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza, especially the children who have lost their families and homes amid the war.
Pep Guardiola said in a video message published through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA): "We are living in a very dark time in our history. We see girls and boys in Gaza searching for their fathers and mothers among the rubble, asking for help, suffering from hunger, and being left alone."
The Spanish coach added: "We see them losing everything before they even have the chance to grow. This hell continues, along with stripping the Palestinian people of their humanity. Their lives are no less important than ours, and their suffering is not foreign to us."
Pep Guardiola emphasized the need to continue solidarity with the Palestinians, stating: "Let us not forget. Solidarity with Palestine cannot stop, nor can our responsibility."
Pep Guardiola's message comes as part of ongoing calls to shed light on the suffering of civilians in Gaza, emphasizing the necessity of protecting children and adhering to humanity in the face of the tragedy experienced by the Palestinian people.
