Cucurella: We must continue on this path, and the RB Leipzig match is important
Marc Cucurella, a player for Real Madrid, has stated that his team put in a strong performance during their 4-1 win against Sevilla in the 9th round of La Liga at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
The player stated in an interview with Real Madrid TV: "We played a very good match from the start. We imposed our control over the game, and we knew when to attack quickly and when to keep the ball and maintain possession."
Regarding achieving three victories in eight days, he explained: "The team is in very good shape. When you win, everything becomes better and easier. We stumbled a bit in Rome, but we knew how to come back. Everyone contributed in their own way, and this is the path we must continue on."
Marc Cucurella spoke about the importance of playing at the Santiago Bernabéu, stating: "It is very important, as it is not easy for any team to play here. The stadium imposes its prestige on opponents, and we have players with great talent. If we make our stadium a fortress that is hard to breach, we can achieve great things and progress towards all our goals."
He also praised Éder Militão's return to participation, confirming that he is a great player with a strong personality who brings a lot to the dressing room. He added: "He is a very cheerful player. The season is long, and the more players we have available, the better it is."
Speaking about ten different players scoring goals, Cucurella stressed the importance of teamwork, saying: "Football is a team sport, and every player must contribute during the minutes they get. The most important thing is always the team, and this is the approach we must continue with."
He concluded his remarks by emphasizing the importance of the upcoming match against RB Leipzig in the Champions League, stating: "The match is very important, and we know that the Champions League is an exceptional tournament. We want to achieve something great, and it will be important to win at home and collect the three points to enhance our chances of qualifying."
