Flu keeps Allegri away from SSC Napoli training ahead of Bodo/Glimt clash
Massimiliano Allegri, SSC Napoli's head coach, missed training on Sunday due to influenza. This comes just two days before the highly anticipated match against Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the UEFA Champions League.
SSC Napoli have returned to training at the club's sports center in Castel Volturno following their defeat to Venezia, in preparation for the match scheduled for Tuesday evening at 9 PM at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
The club has reported that the players who started yesterday's match underwent recovery training, while the rest of the players participated in individual training followed by a session of aerobic exercises.
SSC Napoli confirmed that Allegri did not participate in training due to suffering from flu, without revealing additional details regarding his return to overseeing training.
Napoli hope to quickly recover from their recent defeat and regain their balance before the important European clash against Bodo/Glimt, where the Italian team aims to achieve a positive result.
