Luis Enrique, the head coach of Paris Saint-Germain, confirmed that courage and the ability to adapt to match conditions are the most prominent characteristics of his team. This statement came during a press conference held on Friday, ahead of their match against Strasbourg on Saturday, in the seventh round of Ligue 1.

Luis Enrique spoke about his team's mentality: "If I have to confirm one thing in this match or over the past three years, it is the players' ability to be aggressive and brave at all times, especially away from home. The key characteristic of this team is that they are never afraid."

He added about preparing for matches: "We prepare for every match in the same way because we want to win them all. This is a clear goal for us and for the players. We strive to play good football and create chances, and we know that the three points are essential for us."

Regarding the rotation policy among players, the Spanish coach explained: "Every time we choose the team's lineup, we plan for the short, medium, and long term. We try to understand how each player feels after every match, and we also work based on that. Our goal is to select the best possible lineup to secure the three points in Strasbourg."

Luis Enrique spoke about Magnus Akliush, praising his start to the season. He said: "Regardless of his personality, what matters most to me is his footballing level. He has made a very good start to the season, and he can play in different positions, and I am happy with his adaptation. I do not focus too much on the number of goals he scores or the assists he provides, but I see that he is delivering good performances."

Regarding Warren Zaïre-Emery, he said: "For me, he is a key and essential player, but you cannot play in every match throughout the season. He is a player with essential qualities to be part of the starting lineup, but there are always factors we cannot control over the course of a full season."

Regarding his coaching style, Enrique summarized his philosophy by saying: "It's simple, you have to run a lot and play beautiful football. It's never about age, it's about your abilities and mentality. We must attack and defend together, it's that simple."

In a light-hearted response to Ousmane Dembélé's comments about wanting an extra holiday, the coach said: "He's the boss! If he wants a holiday and asks for it, he'll get it! He's joking all the time, and I love his approach to football and his passion for it."

He added: "It was a joke of course, but I am always open to giving players what they want, within reason. Players love being in the starting lineup all the time, but that is impossible, and they know that choosing the lineup is my responsibility. As for permanent leave, it is coming to the training ground and training; that is the leave!".

Paris Saint-Germain visit Strasbourg on Saturday aiming to secure three points and continue their positive results, ahead of hosting FC Barcelona next Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League.
