Crystal Palace face the risk of losing young French defender Jaydee Canvot, with Paris Saint-Germain interested in signing him after he caught the eye with his performances in the Premier League.

Football Insider has reported that 20-year-old Jaydee Canvot is open to considering a move to Paris Saint-Germain, feeling appreciated due to the French club's interest, despite Crystal Palace's insistence on keeping him in the near future.

The defender had an impressive first season in the Premier League, having participated in 36 matches across all competitions, and contributed to Crystal Palace's success in winning the UEFA Europa Conference League. He also started in five of the team's first six matches in the league this season under the management of Pierre Sage.

Crystal Palace are in a strong position regarding negotiations for Jaydee Canvot, who is contracted to the club until the summer of 2029. This gives the management the freedom to handle any potential offers without pressure to let him go.

The move to Paris Saint-Germain presents an opportunity for the French defender to compete for major titles and continue his development at the European level, but regular participation remains an important factor in his career, which Crystal Palace can provide by giving him a pivotal role in their long-term project.

Jaydee Canvot's chances of leaving depend on how serious Paris Saint-Germain are in making a suitable offer, while Crystal Palace are looking to retain their promising defender, whose value is increasing as he continues to develop.
