Significant drop in Alvarez's value after disappointing start with Atlético

The estimated value of Julian Alvarez, the Atlético forward, has decreased from €200 million to €120 million after his disappointing start to the current season, according to the newspaper "Sport."

Atlético have valued Argentine forward at around €200 million, despite announcing that the release clause in his contract is €500 million. However, his poor start to the season has contributed to a decrease in his estimated value to €120 million, which is approximately £101 million.

This decline comes amid Arsenal's interest in signing the 26-year-old player, as reported by TEAMtalk, which states that the English club is preparing to make a move for him during the winter transfer window in January.

Arsenal may seek to reduce the cost of the deal by including one of their players, such as Viktor Gyökeres or Noni Madueke, in the offer made to Atlético.

In contrast, FC Barcelona has received a blow in their efforts to sign Julián Álvarez, after the newspaper "Sport" reported that the player has ended his relationship with his agent Fernando Hidalgo, who was the direct contact for the Catalan club in negotiations, amid expectations of him collaborating with Javier Pastore, agent of Enzo Fernández.
