SSC Napoli identify alternatives to Anguissa who is close to leaving
SSC Napoli are considering the departure of midfielder Franck Zambo Anguissa during the upcoming winter transfer window, as no agreement has yet been reached regarding the renewal of his contract with the team.
According to circulating information, SSC Napoli's management does not rule out selling André-Frank Zambo Anguissa starting from January, rather than risking losing him later without financially benefiting from his departure, especially with the ongoing stalemate in renewal negotiations.
The Italian club has already begun exploring potential alternatives to replace the Cameroonian midfielder, with Mamadou Coulibaly from Monaco and Adem Zorgane from Union Saint-Gilloise topping the list. This is part of early moves to strengthen the midfield.
SSC Napoli aims to maintain the strength of its squad in the upcoming phase, so the management is working to identify a suitable replacement for Anguissa in case a final decision is made to sell him in January, while continuing to monitor the status of negotiations regarding the player's contract in the coming period.
