Zamalek files a complaint against the director of the summit match
Zamalek has filed an official complaint to the Supreme Council for Media Regulation against Walid Farouk, the director of the match between Zamalek and Al Ahly, which took place last night, Sunday, in the 6th round of the Egyptian League.
Al Ahly FC secured a victory over Zamalek with two goals to nil on Sunday evening in the sixth round of the Egyptian League.
According to a statement from Zamalek, this comes due to the deliberate decision to turn up the volume during offensive chants from Al Ahly FC fans against Zamalek and its supporters at the end of the match, which was clear to everyone through the broadcasting channel.
The statement clarified that there was an intention to make the sound clear, without consideration for public taste, especially since these chants entered all homes, reflecting something that does not represent the nature of Egyptian society and the morals that should be upheld.
