FC Barcelona competes with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain to sign Inter star
FC Barcelona have entered the race to sign French player Andy Diouf from Inter following his impressive performances at the start of the season, making him one of the names being monitored by the club's sporting management in preparation for the upcoming season.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Sport", citing information published in Italy and journalist "Ikram Konur", Barcelona have joined Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain in tracking the 23-year-old player.
Andy Diouf has caught the attention of FC Barcelona scouts during his recent performances with the France national team, after Zinedine Zidane deployed him in the left-back position, where he showcased impressive levels thanks to his physical abilities and tactical flexibility.
The player is known for his ability to occupy multiple positions in midfield, as well as playing on both the right and left flanks. He also possesses strength in duels and the ability to advance with the ball and contribute offensively.
Andy Diouf has joined Inter in the summer of 2025 from RC Lens for around €20 million. After a period of acclimatization, he has become a regular starter on the right flank with Inter, providing three assists in five matches he started in Serie A this season.
Despite interest from FC Barcelona, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain, the transfer will not be easy as the player is under contract with Inter until June 2030. There is no information about FC Barcelona making a formal offer yet, but the club's scouts confirm that the sporting management is interested in signing him.
