Hamdalallah chases Nasir Al-Shamrani's record in Al-Shabab and Al-Taawoun clashes

Abderrazak Hamdallah, the Moroccan forward for Al-Taawoun, is closing in on the top scorer race in his team's matches against Al-Shabab, as he is now just two goals away from the record for this matchup.

SHG Arena in Riyadh will host the match between Al-Shabab and Al-Taawoun tonight at 9 PM, as part of the eighth round of the Saudi Pro League.

Statistics from Opta reveal that Hamdallah scored three goals in the history of encounters between the two teams, all of which came during his time playing for Al Shabab before moving to Al Taawoun.

The statistics indicate that the Al-Taawoun striker needs to score two more goals to equal the record held by Nasser Al-Shamrani, who tops the list of goalscorers in matches between Al-Shabab and Al-Taawoun.

Al-Shamrani has five goals in the encounters between the two teams, making tonight's match an opportunity for Hamdallah to close the gap and approach the historic top scorer record of the match.
