Aquilani: AC Milan are a strong team and US Sassuolo can deliver a great match

Alberto Aquilani, the head coach of US Sassuolo, has confirmed his team's readiness to face AC Milan, noting that the international break involved intensive work on physical and tactical aspects, aimed at improving performance and restoring player fitness ahead of the resumption of Serie A.

Alberto Aquilani has praised AC Milan's standout players and clear collective strength, but emphasized that US Sassuolo is on a path of development, having managed to present many positive aspects in recent times.

US Sassuolo's coach added that his team needs to improve their effectiveness in the penalty area, both in exploiting attacking opportunities and dealing with crucial defensive moments, stressing that matches are not decided by good performance alone, but by the ability to take advantage of small details.

Aquilani has explained that all players are available, with differing levels of fitness readiness. He also expressed his happiness with the development of his players who have joined national teams, hoping that the rest of the squad will continue to work towards reaching an international level.

The coach concluded his remarks by praising the Portuguese Ruben Amorim, coach of AC Milan, emphasizing his great appreciation for him and his previous experience with Sporting Lisbon, which provided him with new ideas and contributed to the development of his coaching perspective.
