Cardinale leads Milan's search for a new sporting director

Jerry Cardinali, owner of AC Milan, is personally working to complete the club's sporting structure, as the management seeks to add a new official to the system and enhance the decision-making process related to football.

According to Matteo Moretto, Cardinale is looking to improve AC Milan's sporting organizational structure, with the ongoing idea of hiring someone for the position of 'Football President' or adding one or two new elements to the management, depending on the final shape chosen by the club's owner.

There is currently no final candidate agreed upon, as the search remains open for several names and profiles. Markus Krösche, the sporting director of Eintracht Frankfurt, was one of the prominent names linked with Milan, but Maurizio confirmed that there is no agreement with him, alongside some differences regarding the vision and the role he would take within the club.

Meetings and negotiations are expected to continue in the coming weeks, with Cardinale returning to Italy to oversee the team and work on completing AC Milan's administrative and sporting structure ahead of the next phase.
