Al-Qadsiah achieves two historic records after thrashing Al-Khulood 5-0

Al-Qadisiyah achieved two remarkable feats in the Saudi Pro League, thrashing Al-Khulood 5-0 on Friday evening in the 8th round. This victory temporarily puts them at the top of the standings as they continue their strong run of results.

Al-Qadisiyah have increased their tally to 19 points at the top of the table, one point ahead of second-placed Al-Hilal, who are preparing to face Al-Ittihad on Saturday. Meanwhile, Al-Khulood's points remain at 12 in seventh place.

Al-Qadisiyah secured only their third victory in Saudi Pro League history by beating Al-Khulood 5-0, marking a five-goal margin or more. This result highlights their significant dominance in the competition.

The team has achieved two previous victories by the same margin or more; the first was against Al-Fateh with a score of 6-1 in October 2011, and the second was against Al-Fayha FC with a five-goal haul in January of this year.

Al-Qadisiyah have enhanced their record away from home against clubs from the Al-Qassim region, achieving their fourth consecutive victory in these encounters following a comprehensive win over Al-Khulood, thus equalling their longest winning streak away from home against teams from the region.

Al-Qadisiyah previously recorded the same streak during the period from February 2021 to May 2025, repeating the historic achievement after their five-goal haul, and confirming their strength in matches played away against clubs from Al-Qassim.
