Media: Al Ahly FC gained psychological benefits from victory over Petrojet

Mohamed Fares, host of the program "Fi Dahr Al Ahly", commented on the emphatic victory achieved by the Red Giant over Petrojet in the Cairo Capital Cup.

Al Ahly FC secured a 5-0 victory over Petrojet on Wednesday evening at the Al Salam Stadium, in the first round of the group stage of the Egypt Cup.

Mohamed Fares wrote on his official Facebook account: "An important win not just for the tournament itself, but an important win because it brings psychological benefits, the first beneficiary of which is Amouta, who needed a win like this so easily and with this score, while playing with substitutes."

He added: "Against a team from the league, we may have faced teams of a similar level where we performed below par. Dary's full match participation is a win, Tawfik Mohamed's assist for the goal is a win, scoring with a new player is a win, and Hussein El Shahat's level is one of the biggest wins."

Mohamed Fares emphasized the importance of psychologically investing in the victory ahead of the match against Zamalek, saying: "I hope we maintain this psychological state and it transforms into confidence for Amouta as he heads into the Zamalek match."

Tawfik Mohamed stated: "We have a squad with diversity and solutions, and this needs to show in the match against Zamalek SC," expressing his happiness with Al Ahly FC's return to easy victories, saying: "I missed the matches that are not tense and that afterwards I don't have to feel like I have depression."
