Al Ahly FC considers signing foreign defender in January

Hassan confirmed in statements published on his official Facebook account that the officials at Al Ahly FC greatly prefer to sign a new foreign defender in order to reinforce the team's backline and fill defensive gaps.

The source clarified that this decision was made due to the management's lack of confidence in the local options available in the Egyptian League at the moment, and the coaching staff's desire to bring in a player with international experience capable of providing an immediate impact.

Al Ahly FC are set to face Petrol Asyut today, Wednesday, at the Al Salam Stadium in the first round of the Egyptian League Cup.
