The board of Al Ahly FC, led by Mahmoud El Khatib, has decided to make the team's match against Kitarra from Uganda free for its fans, after announcing the broadcast of the return leg on the club's channel, as part of the Round of 32 in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The second leg match between Al Ahly FC and Kitara will take place on October 25 at Cairo International Stadium, where the encounter will be available exclusively on Al Ahly FC channel, according to the outcome of the club's board meeting held on Tuesday evening.

Al Ahly FC are preparing to play the first leg against Kitarra in Uganda on October 17, after the club set the date for the team's travel and assigned the task of leading the delegation to Sayed Abdel Hafiz, a member of the board of directors.

Abdel Hafiz coordinated with Wael Gomaa, the director of football, regarding various arrangements related to the trip, including the travel schedule, accommodation hotel, transportation means, and training grounds, with the aim of providing the best environment for the coaching staff and players.

Al Ahly FC's board meeting resulted in several decisions, including the appointment of Khaled Morsi as the club's executive director, following the completion of the competition announced by the club to select the position holder during the period from September 15 to 21, according to the specified criteria and conditions.

The council has set November 13 and 14 as the dates for the ordinary general assembly of the club, and has tasked Tarek Qandil, a board member, with overseeing the final accounts of Al Ahly FC's budget.

In other sports news, the board has decided to appoint Mohamed Al Ghazawi, a council member, to head the delegation of the men's volleyball team heading to Poland to participate in the World Championship scheduled to take place in December.

Al Ghazawi coordinated with Khaled Al Awadi, the General Director of Sports Activities, regarding the travel arrangements for the team and its needs, to ensure the best conditions for the coaching staff and players during their participation in the global tournament.
