Carlos Espí excluded from Spain's clash with Croatia

Carlos Espí, the forward for Real Madrid, has been confirmed as excluded from Spain's squad to face Croatia this evening due to a technical decision, as part of the fourth round of the UEFA Nations League. The player continues to await his first appearance in the senior national team.

Luis de la Fuente has called up Carlos Espí to the national team after Ferran Torres' injury, but the Real Madrid forward did not participate in the match against the Czech Republic in the third round, before being omitted again from the squad for the match against Croatia.

De la Fuente's decision delays Carlos Espí's first international appearance once again. He was given the opportunity to join the senior national team during the current break, but he has not been able to make his debut yet.

With this, it seems that Carlos Espí will have to wait until the next international break at least to get another opportunity with the Spain national team, after being excluded from the Croatia match.
