Egyptian Football Association sets agenda for October 12 meeting
The Egyptian Football Association's board has scheduled its regular meeting for October 12, during which several important topics will be discussed, including reports from the national teams, sponsorship of team kits, and the association's media policies.
The Football Association has stated in an official statement that the council will discuss reports from the national teams following the conclusion of the international break, primarily focusing on the report of the senior Egyptian national team, as well as the reports from the Egyptian teams born in 2007 and 2009, while reviewing the results of recent participations and preparation programs for the upcoming phase.
The Egyptian national team played two matches against Angola and South Sudan in the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations 2027, along with a friendly match against South Africa.
The council is also discussing the report of the Egyptian youth team, led by Wael Riad, which is participating in the North African Championship qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations U20, where they will play their final match against Algeria.
The meeting will also address the report of the Egypt U-17 national team led by Hussein Abdel Latif, after finishing sixth in the International Friendship Tournament in Switzerland.
On the commercial front, the agenda includes discussing the sponsorship of national team kits, as part of the federation's plan to develop the sponsorship system and benefit from commercial offers and opportunities, which contributes to supporting the teams and enhancing the federation's resources.
The board is reviewing a report on the media policies of national teams and the media system within the federation, aiming to develop media performance and unify the official discourse, ensuring consistency in the messages issued by the federation and its teams and enhancing communication with the media and the public.
