Portugal turn the tables on Norway and strengthen their group lead

Portugal achieved a thrilling victory over Norway with a score of 2-1 in the match held at the Estádio do Dragão, as part of the fourth round of the UEFA Nations League.

Portugal has increased its tally to 12 points at the top of the group, surpassing Denmark in second place with 6 points, while Norway's tally remains at 3 points in third place, and Wales sits in fourth place with no points.

Norway started the match strongly, taking the lead in the 36th minute through Christopher Ajer, after the ball reached him on the edge of the penalty area, and he unleashed a powerful and stunning shot that the Portuguese goalkeeper could not save.

However, Portugal's response was swift, as João Cancelo managed to equalise in the 38th minute after receiving a pass from Nuno Mendes on the edge of the penalty area, before striking a brilliant shot that found the back of the net.

In the 79th minute, Portugal managed to turn the tide and snatch the winning goal, after Vitinha passed the ball to João Félix, who in turn played it to Gonçalo Ramos, allowing the latter to shoot the ball into the net and give the hosts the lead.

Portugal suffered a setback in the closing minutes as Francisco Conceição received two yellow cards in the 85th minute and was sent off. Despite playing with ten men in the final minutes, the Portuguese national team held on to their lead until the final whistle.
