Klopp: I liked everything, and everyone at Liverpool is happy

Jürgen Klopp, the head coach of the Germany national team, expressed his great happiness with the level his team showed during the 2-0 victory over Serbia in the third round of the UEFA Nations League, achieving his first win with the Mannschaft.

Klopp said after the match: "I liked everything, the start, the middle part, and the end. Our positioning inside the penalty area was amazing. We had the courage to do that, and when we regain the ball together, we can give ourselves all the freedom and take risks."

He added: "Everyone was present in moments of pressure. The back line defended brilliantly forward. We were very special without the ball, and with the ball, we played wonderful football."

Germany's coach stated: "This should be our baseline level. Can we always deliver this performance? We will see. This match will enter my archive; it is the next step in our development. We are learning in the end, and we are learning under pressure."

Speaking about Florian Wirtz's performance, he said: "The way we want to play suits Florian Wirtz. I think everyone at Liverpool is very happy today. The boy plays with joy and has worked incredibly hard."
