Egypt national team arrives in Cairo

The Egypt national team arrived in Cairo this evening, coming from South Sudan after their second-round match in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers for 2027.

Egypt's national team succeeded in overcoming their hosts, South Sudan, with five goals without reply, in the match that brought the two teams together yesterday evening, Tuesday, at Juba Stadium, as part of the second round of the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations 2027.

Khaled El-Darendly has headed the Egypt national team's delegation in South Sudan.

Players are set to gather and engage in a closed camp tomorrow, Thursday, as part of serious preparations for the upcoming friendly match against South Africa. This friendly will serve as the final stop for the Pharaohs in the current gathering, with the anticipated match taking place at Cairo International Stadium next Sunday evening.
