Sources have indicated that Al-Nassr's management is keen to wrap up the matter swiftly, particularly with Australian Ange Postecoglou having relied on Nawaf Al-Aqidi as the first-choice goalkeeper during the past period.

Al-Nassr are moving despite Nawaf Al-Aqidi's recent absence from participation, having suffered an injury that kept him out of matches. The goalkeeper also missed the Saudi national team squad for Gulf Cup 27 due to the injury.
