Everton clarify stance on Pickford's departure amid Bayern Munich interest

Everton have made a decision regarding the future of their goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, amid Bayern Munich's interest in signing him in 2027, as part of the German club's plans for life after Manuel Neuer.

According to "TEAMtalk", Bayern Munich are studying the possibility of signing Pickford, after identifying the English goalkeeper as a potential target to succeed Neuer, whose contract with the team expires at the end of the current season.

Jordan Pickford has renewed his contract with Everton in October of last year, extending his stay at the club until 2029, as the team continues to regard him as a key element for the present and future. Reports also indicate that Vincent Kompany is gathering information on the goalkeeper, preferring him over Bart Verbruggen, the Brighton keeper.

Jordan Pickford's desire to leave does not seem clear, as the goalkeeper feels happy at Everton, while his family settles in Merseyside, alongside his strong relationship with the club's fans. He has never demanded to leave, even during the team's toughest periods.
