Augsburg coach opens door for goalkeeper's departure amid Bayern Munich interest

Manuel Baum, the coach of Augsburg, has praised the levels shown by the team's goalkeeper Finn Dahmen, amid his name being linked with interest from Bayern Munich. He confirmed that Dahmen's brilliance makes him a target for major clubs in the Bundesliga.

Baum stated in comments reported by Bild: "Considering his levels, he is one of the best goalkeepers in the Bundesliga. If a player is among the best in the Bundesliga, it is natural for him to be on the radar of the big clubs."

The club added: "We have many players in the team who attract the interest of clubs, and we are negotiating with Vin regarding his future, especially since his contract expires next summer."

Augsburg's coach concluded his remarks by saying: "Nevertheless, part of Augsburg's philosophy sometimes involves allowing players who exceed expectations to leave."
