SSC Napoli moves for AS Monaco talent amid Atlético and Newcastle competition
SSC Napoli have entered the race for French midfielder Mamadou Coulibaly, a young player from AS Monaco, after the Italian club included him in their list of future targets to strengthen their midfield.
Mamadou Coulibaly, born in 2004, is also attracting interest from Atlético, Newcastle, and Brentford, as several European clubs monitor his development with AS Monaco.
According to reports, no interested clubs have made an official offer yet, while SSC Napoli is monitoring the player's situation in preparation for a potential move during the upcoming transfer window.
AS Monaco currently values Mamadou Coulibaly between €35 million and €40 million, as the French club aims to extend his contract, which expires in the summer of 2028, to 2030. This could make his departure difficult in January.
