Atlético player attacks Mourinho after Madrid derby events

Alex Baena, a player for Villarreal, has sharply criticised José Mourinho, the manager of Real Madrid, for his behaviour following the team's loss to Atlético (2-1) in the capital derby.

Baeña has stated, in comments reported by Telemadrid, that Mourinho resorts to complaining after the loss, believing that Real Madrid is always looking for other reasons instead of reviewing what they delivered on the pitch.

The Spanish player added: "He complains because he lost. When Real Madrid lose, they always look for other excuses instead of asking themselves."

Baeina commented on Mourinho's behavior during the press conference, where he showcased images and clips related to some refereeing incidents in the match, considering that what happened was merely a reaction to the loss.

The Villarreal player concluded his statements with a direct criticism of Mourinho, saying: "All that show with the papers was just an act from a loser who cannot accept defeat."
