Ghadjemis nears contract extension with Frosinone

Algerian Faris Ghaddjemis looks set to continue his journey with Frosinone, as his future has shifted from a potential departure during the summer transfer window to the possibility of extending his contract with the Italian club.

Ghadjemis has been strongly linked with several European clubs during the summer transfer window, following his impressive performance with Frosinone last season, where he scored 15 goals and provided 3 assists, contributing to the team's return to Serie A.

Despite his current contract running until June 30, 2028, Frosinone's management is working to extend it and improve its terms, aiming to secure the future of the Algerian winger and keep him away from the interest of clubs looking to sign him. According to journalist Nicolo Schira, negotiations are progressing, while "Tuttosport" indicated the possibility of extending the contract until 2030 or 2031, along with an increase in the player's salary.

Frosinone have rejected several offers for Ghadjimis this summer, including bids from AS Monaco, Beşiktaş, and Celtic, before the player remained with the team. It seems that the Italian club now wants to turn its insistence on the player into a long-term agreement, making him one of the key elements of its project in the upcoming phase.
