Daniel Maldini's test results revealed after car accident

La Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed the results of the tests undergone by Daniel Maldini, Cagliari's forward, following the car accident he was involved in in Milan a few days ago, where the final analysis result for drug testing was negative.

The newspaper clarified that the tests conducted at Niguarda Hospital showed that the levels of narcotics in Maldini's blood were below the established threshold for detection, and therefore it was not proven that he was driving under the influence of narcotic or psychological substances.

Maldini underwent an initial saliva test by local police following the incident, which returned a positive result. However, this test was a preliminary examination and does not hold final legal value, before blood tests at the hospital confirmed that no drugs were present.

In contrast, the issue of driving under the influence of alcohol remains, as the breathalyzer test returned a positive result after the incident, leading to the player's driving license being revoked. As for drugs, final tests ruled out their presence in Maldini's blood at the time of the incident.
