Officially.. Samuel Ricci joins Italy camp instead of Cristante

The Italian Football Federation has announced the call-up of Samuel Ricci, a Como player, to the Italian national team camp, to replace Bryan Cristante of AS Roma, who will be unable to join the Azzurri squad due to a physical issue.

Bryan Cristante suffered a physical issue after participating with AS Roma against Inter, prompting the coaching staff led by Roberto Mancini to exclude him from the camp and call up Ricci instead to join the group in the coming hours.

Richie's inclusion in the national team comes as Italy prepares for the UEFA Nations League, following Mancini's earlier announcement of a 34-player squad for the upcoming four matches against Belgium, Türkiye, and France.

Richie gets a new opportunity with the Italian national team, while Cristante is forced to miss the camp due to his physical condition. The player will undergo a medical evaluation depending on the developments of his situation in the coming period.
