Ahmed Eid set to leave Al Ahly FC in January
Ahmed Eid is nearing a departure from Al Ahly FC in the upcoming winter transfer window, whether by moving to another club or being included in a swap deal after falling out of favour with the team's coach, Al-Hussein Amouta, according to "Youm7".
The newspaper clarified that Ahmed Eid has been completely left out of the plans of the coaching staff at Al Ahly FC at the start of the team's journey in the league, as he was omitted from the squad for the first five matches. This reflects the difficulty he faces in getting a chance to participate given the competition within the team, with the coaching staff relying on a different group of players, such as Mohamed Hany, Akram Tawfik, and Karim Fouad, with Eid currently sitting in fourth place in the ranking of right-wing players.
Al Ahly FC's management is looking into the available paths for Ahmed Eid's future in the upcoming phase in cooperation with the coaching staff. The intention within the club is to focus on the players who are most involved and impactful with the team, which opens the door for evaluating the status of players who are struggling to break into the starting lineup.
In this context, the idea of the player's departure in the winter transfer market is emerging as one of the proposed solutions. The club is considering the possibility of including Ahmed Eid in a swap deal during January, should a suitable offer that serves the team's technical interests be received.
