Juventus have suffered another blow with the injury of their Polish goalkeeper Kamil Grabara, who has torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee after sustaining the injury during team training, the club confirmed following medical examinations. The goalkeeper is preparing to undergo specialized consultations to determine the appropriate treatment plan.

Grabarra has joined Juventus during the summer transfer window on loan from VfL Wolfsburg until June 30, 2027, with the Italian club having the option to buy his contract for €11.5 million.

The injury came just days after his first start with the team against Nice in the Europa League, which ended with Juventus winning and keeping a clean sheet.

According to Tuttosport, the serious injury sustained by Kamil Grabara makes it unlikely that Juventus will decide to activate the purchase option at the end of the season, which means the Polish goalkeeper may return to VfL Wolfsburg after his loan period ends. These developments come at a time when reports suggest that his absence could extend for several months.

Juventus face a new crisis in goalkeeping due to injury, with Luciano Spalletti set to rely on Guglielmo Vicario, while Carlo Pinsoglio will serve as backup. There is also an evaluation of the possibility of promoting young goalkeeper Riccardo Radu from the Juventus Under-23 team.
