Christian González appointed Inter Miami head coach until 2028

Inter Miami have officially announced the signing of Argentine coach Cristian González, after completing all the necessary procedures and documentation, to begin his new role at the helm of the team's coaching staff.

Gonzalez has signed a contract with Inter Miami until June 2028, marking the start of a new phase for the team that includes Argentine star Lionel Messi.

The Argentine coach is set to hold his first training session with the team today in preparation for his first task against CD Cruz Azul in the Campeones Cup final.

Gonzalez will appear for the first time on the bench of Inter Miami on Thursday morning when they face CD Cruz Azul in the final, amid anticipation for what the new coach will bring to Messi's team.
