Anass Salah-Eddine arrives in Athens ahead of joining Panathinaikos

Moroccan international Anass Salah-Eddine arrived in Athens on Saturday evening to finalize his transfer from AS Roma to Panathinaikos, after both clubs reached an agreement regarding his future.

This move ends the uncertainty surrounding the Moroccan left-back's future with AS Roma, especially after coach Gasperini previously confirmed his desire not to retain the player's services within the squad.

The agreement between the two clubs stipulates Anass Salah-Eddine's transfer to Panathinaikos on loan, with an option to buy under a four-year contract. The player is expected to undergo medical examinations on Sunday, September 13, with the official announcement of the deal set for Monday, September 14.

Anass Salah-Eddine will attend his new team's match against Panathinaikos at the OAKA Stadium this evening, as part of the fourth round of the Super League Greece, marking his first appearance in the atmosphere of his anticipated club.

By joining Panathinaikos, Anass Salah-Eddine will become the third Moroccan international in the team's ranks, after Imrân Louza and Azzedine Ounahi.
