Pagis included in Zidane's preliminary list with France
Pablo Pagis continues to attract attention after his impressive start with Paris FC, as he received an initial call-up to the extended squad for the French national team prepared by new coach Zinedine Zidane.
Pablo Pagis, 23, has joined Paris FC this summer from FC Lorient in a deal worth around €15 million, following years of hard work and progression through the club's ranks.
Paris FC currently sits third in Ligue 1 with 8 points from four matches, two points behind leaders AS Monaco and Rennes, after drawing 0-0 with Olympique Lyon in the fourth round.
Pablo Pagis is noted for his ability to play as a playmaker, alongside his quality footwork, vision on the pitch, and ability to control the tempo of the game, factors that seem to have caught Zidane's attention. The French coach is expected to announce his final list on September 18.
