Al Nassr sets world record for consecutive scoring in league

Al Nassr has broken the world record for consecutive goals scored in leagues, netting against Al Khaleej for the 94th match in a row, thanks to a goal from Abdullah Al Hamdan in the 7th round of the Saudi Pro League.

Al Nassr faced Al Khaleej level on 93 consecutive matches with CA River Plate after Cristiano Ronaldo scored against Abha in the sixth round, equalling the world record.

Abdullah Al-Hamdan's goal in the 72nd minute against Al Khaleej allowed Al Nassr to achieve a historic milestone, as it extended his consecutive matches scoring streak to 94 matches in league competitions.

Al Nassr began their scoring streak in December 2023, when they beat Riyadh 4-1. Since then, the team has continued to find the net against their opponents in their league matches.

Al-Nassr extended their scoring streak to ten matches against Al-Tai FC in March 2024, before reaching their 50th encounter against Al-Akhidood, following a massive 9-0 victory in May 2025.

Al Nassr secured a clean four-goal victory against Al Hazm in February, marking their 75th match. The 90th match was completed during the win over Al Ettifaq in August.

During this record-breaking unbeaten streak of 94 matches, Al Nassr achieved 70 victories, alongside 12 draws and 12 losses, becoming the sole leader of this world record after surpassing the achievement of CA River Plate.
