Ahead of the AFC Champions League clash with Al-Ain, a major blow disrupts Al-Nassr's plans

Al Nassr have suffered a setback ahead of their matches against Al Khaleej and Al-Ain, with medical tests confirming that Ayman Yahya has a hamstring tear. He is expected to be sidelined for a period of 10 to 14 days.

Medical examinations revealed that the player needs an intensive rehabilitation and treatment program, aimed at restoring his physical and technical readiness before returning to participate in official matches.

Al Nassr will be without Ayman Yahya against Al Khaleej this Saturday in the seventh round of the Saudi Pro League, and then during their match against Al-Ain next Tuesday as they open their campaign in the AFC Champions League Elite.

Ayman Yahya felt pain from an injury during the last training session before the match against Abha last Wednesday, starting the game on the bench before coming on as a substitute in the 76th minute for Abdullah Al-Hamdan.

The absence of the player comes at a crucial time for Al-Nassr as they prepare for an important AFC Champions League Elite match against Al-Ain, while also striving to maintain their strong presence in the Saudi Pro League.

Ayman Yahya is expected to undergo rehabilitation during the upcoming sports break, coinciding with the Saudi national team's participation in the 'Gulf 27' tournament in Jeddah.

The Gulf Cup 27 will take place from September 23 to October 6, providing Al Nassr player with ample time to complete his rehabilitation program and approach full fitness.

The coaching staff at Al Nassr, led by Australian Ange Postecoglou, are hopeful of regaining the services of Ayman Yahya following the conclusion of the break, with the player set to undergo a medical evaluation before a return date for participation is determined.
