Candidates for the best coach award in the world for 2026

The Ballon d'Or account on X revealed the list of coaches nominated for the Best Men's Coach award for 2026, featuring 5 prominent names from the world of football.

The list includes Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, and Luis de la Fuente, the coach of the Spain national team, alongside Unai Emery, the manager of Aston Villa, and Vincent Kompany, the coach of Bayern Munich, as well as Luis Enrique, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain.

The Ballon d'Or awards ceremony is set to take place on October 26, 2026, in London, where the winner of the Best Men's Coach award will be revealed.

The ceremony will also include awards for Best Player and Best Player, Best Young Talent for men and women, Best Goalkeeper for men and women, as well as Best Forward for men and women.

De la Fuente is the leading candidate for the award after guiding the Spanish national team to victory in the FIFA World Cup against Argentina in the final.
