El Masry SC decides to suspend player payments after second defeat

El Masry SC has officially announced via a statement on its official Facebook account that it has suspended its players' dues indefinitely, following their second defeat in the Egyptian League.

El Masry SC lost to Petrojet 2-1 on Monday in the fourth round of the Egyptian League.

El Masry SC stated in their announcement: "The board of directors of El Masry SC, headed by Mr. Kamel Abu Ali, has decided, in coordination with the coaching staff of the first team, to suspend the payments of all players indefinitely following the defeat in today's match against Petrojet."

The club added in its statement: "The club's board has also issued a warning to all players about exclusion in case of negligence, whether in training or matches."

This marks El Masry SC's second defeat in the Egyptian League this season, following a 1-0 loss to Pyramids FC in the third round of the competition.

El Masry SC had previously announced the departure of Emad El Nahhas from the position of head coach of the team, following the defeat to Pyramids FC. The club's management appointed Ahmed Samy as his replacement.
