Amorim: AC Milan did not deserve to win against Juventus and we need time
Milan's coach, Ruben Amorim, acknowledged that his team did not perform to the required level during the match against Juventus, pointing out that the draw reflects the team's performance in the game, and that there is a lot of work to be done to improve their level in the upcoming period.
Amorim stated: "AC Milan did not deserve to win the match, we did not deliver a good performance tonight, and we still have a lot of work ahead of us, as the performance was not up to the required level."
AC Milan's coach said: "The little details are what we missed tonight, we struggled to control the ball, but we were able to take the lead and fought until the end. This draw will not change the way the team plays, we need to be braver, and when you lose the ball, you have to go and get it back, but I don't want to be too negative towards the team."
Regarding Sissi, Amorim said: "I love him and I love all the players, and when a player is at the beginning of his brilliance, we must be careful in how we deal with him, as I ask a lot from my team players."
He concluded: "We did not deliver a good match, but we have only been working together for two months. We got a point, and we definitely need to improve, but we need time."
